Our Philosphy
“To grow up as competent and confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body, and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society”.
(Ministry of Education, 2017).
Champion Kids is a place that provokes creativity, fun and learning. We support children to gain a positive awareness of their own and other cultures.
Parents, whānau and teachers are considered to play an important role in the education of children. We see it as all our roles to help build relationships, to capture, support and extend on all children’s interests. We value the belief that children are strong, competent, and capable learners and who are full of wonder and curiosity to learn.
Our environment is richly resourced and considered to be very important to the learning process and is designed to give children opportunities to discover, learn and play at their own pace.
The teaching team will encourage and support a positive learning environment no matter, age, ability, culture and needs. We embrace Te Whāriki, The New Zealand Early Education Early Childhood Curriculum and Te Tirito o Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi
Above all we will treasure every moment of each child's journey as they develop and grow; learning about their world, sharing in the magic and wonder, and making happy memories...
